Here!

            I’m officially in Venezuela! We got into Barcelona at between 6 and 7 last night. We looked ridiculous, 5 girls and all of our suitcases. We were met by Marcelo and his family and took a bus to Anaco. It was dark out already so we didn’t really get to see anything. We got a tour of the school and our classrooms and had the opportunity to see our classrooms. We called home and moved into our homes. I’m only living in this house for about a week until the apartments are finished, then I’ll move in there. Right now I have a small house with a bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen. The apartment I will be moving into will have two bedrooms.

            Today we are going to go get lunch and continue getting settled in. Marcelo is going to take us around the city to get to know our area. The other teachers also arrive today. Tomorrow begins professional development meetings and setting up our classrooms. Our classes begin on Monday, August 13^th.  We seem to have a pretty nice set up here. Pictures are to come.
